The first schedule of Vedigundu Murugesan, the upcoming film with Pasupathy and Jyothirmayee in the lead roles is complete. This film with an interesting title will not be formulaic as per director Murthy.
When talking about his new venture, he says, “Vedigundu Murugesan will have the usual ingredients like romance, action and comedy but at the same time will not follow the norms of an ordinary film”.
When talking about his hero Pasupathy, Murthy is all praise for him highlighting the fact that the talented actor does not want to get trapped in any image web. When he conceived the idea for Vedigundu Murugesan, it was Pasupathy who came to his mind and luckily the star had also liked the script and had agreed to feature in the film.
About his heroine Jyothirmayee, he says, “I am floored by the dedication Jyothirmayee has shown.
She plays the role of a police constable and is expected to drive a Yamaha vehicle. She learnt to drive this powerful vehicle in a short span with many injuries but never once complained”.
While reacting to the news that appeared in the media that Kuselan has led to the postponement of Vedigundu Murugesan, Murthy denies this and says that they had planned editing and song recording after the first schedule and are sticking to that arrangement.
